Pre-Clinical Cognitive and Behavioral Testing

Tests of prefrontal cortex - cognitive function are preformed using rodents to assess the potential for cognitive improvement/impairment. Compounds can be given by a number of routes including: IP, SC, Oral, ICV. Deliverables from these studies include:

Delayed Alternation Test of Working Memory

Change in Accuracy from Baseline (performance measure)
Change in Trial Duration from Baseline (motivational measure)

Visual Signal Detection Test of Sustained Attention

Change in Proportion of Correct Trials from Baseline
Change in Probability of Correct Detection from Baseline (accuracy measure)
Change in Probability of False Alarms from Baseline (impulsivity measure)
Change in d' from Baseline (stimulus detectability measure)

Conditioned Place Preference
